Individuals may ask OSMRC for accommodations from the university to address safety or privacy concerns, the impact of trauma or stress, or scheduling conflicts that arise as a result of judicial or criminal proceedings.  University policy and federal law ensure that such requests are given thoughtful consideration and that efforts are made to provide needed flexibility.

Common accommodation requests include:

  • Excused absences
  • Changes in housing
  • Extensions on assignments
  • Retroactive or late drops
  • Adjustments in work schedules or locations
  • Class reassignment
  • Request for no contact
